CMA CGM has reached a milestone in Vietnam with the delivery of 1,000 twenty-foot containers built by Hoa Phat Group. This marks the first time the shipping group has sourced containers locally.
The order supports CMA CGM’s expansion in Southeast Asia, helping meet growing cargo demand. Partnering with Vietnam’s largest container manufacturer improves equipment availability, speeds up turnaround times, and boosts supply chain efficiency in the region.
Amélie Humphreys, General Manager of CMA CGM Vietnam, joined local partners to celebrate the launch, highlighting a new chapter for the group in the country.
