CMA CGM sets new surcharges from India and Pakistan

CMA CGM has published new peak season surcharges (PSS), which will take effect on 25 June, from India and Pakistan to several destinations across the world.

The French shipping group will apply a PSS of US$1,250 per 20′ and US$1,450 per 40′ for dry cargo which is expected to arrive in East Coast Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico East Coast from India and Pakistan via Malta.

From the same origin countries to French Guiana, French West Indies, North Brazil, Suriname, Guyana, Windward, Leeward, West Coast Central America & Mexico West Coast and Iceland, CMA CGM will implement a PSS of US$750 per dry container.

Additionally, the Marseille-based carrier has announced a PSS of US$1,300 per dry box from India and Pakistan to West Coast South America.

The surcharges for Colombia Atlantic Coast, Panama Atlantic Coast, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, North Brazil, Panama Pacific Coast, Virgin Islands, Ecuador and Colombia Pacific Coast will take effect one month later, on 25 July.
