CMA CGM sets new FAK Rates from Asia to North Europe from April

CMA CGM has announced new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates for shipments from Asia to North Europe.

The new rates will apply from 1 April 2026 (loading date) until further notice.

The carrier set rates at USD 2,000 per 20’ container and USD 3,500 per 40’ container, including 40’ high cube and reefer units.

The rates apply from all Asian ports, including Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh. Destinations cover all North European ports, including the UK and the full range from Portugal to Finland and Estonia.

The scope includes dry cargo, out-of-gauge shipments, reefers, and paying empties.

CMA CGM said the rates cover base port-to-port freight and bunker-related surcharges. Additional charges will still apply. These include terminal handling charges (THC), emissions-related costs (ETS), safety and security surcharges, and possible contingency and local fees.

The update reflects ongoing adjustments in pricing on the Asia–Europe trade lane.
