CMA CGM revises peak season surcharges from Mediterranean

Marseille-headquartered container line CMA CGM has announced the revision of the peak season surcharge (PSS) from the Mediterranean to the US Gulf and Mexico East Coast.

The new surcharge will be effective from 28 November (US gate in date) until further notice and will be US$1,400 per 20’ST and US$1,400 per 40’ST and HC for dry, reefer, out of gauge (OOG) and breakbulk cargo.

The aforementioned surcharges will be applied to sailings from Mediterranean ports (Malta, Fos and Marseille in France, Italy and Spain) and via said ports (Albania, Algeria, Cyprus, Croatia, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Slovenia and Tunisia) excluding Bilbao, Vigo, Gijon, Alexandria and Damietta to the ports in the US Gulf and Mexico East Coast (and inland points via said ports).
