CMA CGM revises peak season surcharge from Europe to North America

Marseille-headquartered container line CMA CGM has announced the revision of its peak season surcharge (PSS) from Europe to US Gulf, US East Coast and Canada East Coast.

The new surcharge from North Europe, Scandinavia, Poland and Baltic to US East Coast will be effective from 20 December (US gate in date) until further notice and will be US$1,500 per container for all types of cargo.

CMA CGM said the peak season surcharge from Portugal to US East Coast remains at US$1,375 per 20′ and US$1,550 per 40′.

The surcharge from North Europe, Scandinavia, Poland and Baltic to US Gulf and Canada East Coast will also be effective from 20 December (US gate in date) until further notice and will be US$1,750 per 20′ and US$2,000 per 40′ for all types of cargo.
