CMA CGM revises Operation Cost Recovery for shipments to Banjul

CMA CGM has informed customers of a revised Operation Cost Recovery (OCR) applicable to cargo shipments destined for Banjul, Gambia.

The updated charge will take effect from February 1, 2026. For shipments originating from the United States and U.S. territories, as well as Australia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama and Brazil, the revised charge will apply from February 10, 2026. The measure will remain in force until further notice.

Under the revision, the Operation Cost Recovery (OCR01) will apply to all cargo types shipped from all origins to Banjul, Gambia. The charge is set at USD 137 per TEU and will be payable as per freight terms.

CMA CGM stated that the adjustment reflects operational cost considerations associated with serving the destination.
