CMA CGM returns to Ukraine

French container shipping company CMA CGM will become the third carrier to serve Ukraine with its own tonnage through the new Odessa Express (ODX).

The CMA CGM’s service will call at the port of Odessa, where the Marseille-based firm operates its own terminal. MSC and Iteris Feeders, the other two carriers serving Ukraine, have chosen the port of Chornomorsk, which lies more to the south.

CMA CGM will deploy two 1,100-1,500 TEU vessels which will sail under the following port rotation:

Piraeus (Greece) – Odessa (Ukraine) – Istanbul, Ambarli (Turkey) – Piraeus
