CMA CGM has announced changes in its Europe – West Africa network with rotation updates in MEDWAX, EURAF3 and WAZZAN services.
The French carrier said that MEDWAX service will now be operated in 35 days with five vessels of 2,200 to 2,800 TEU box capacity and will have the following rotation:
Barcelona (Spain) – Marseille (France) – Valencia (Spain) – Tanger (Morocco) – Algeciras (Spain) – Dakar (Senegal) – Conakry (Guinea) – Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) – Barcelona
The 2,500 TEU NewYorker will be the first ship on the updated MEDWAX rotation with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) in Tanger on 29 October and in Abidjan on 15 November.

Additionally, CMA CGM noted that EURAF 3 will be operated in 42 days with six vessels of 1,600 to 1,700 TEU container capacity. The updated EURAF 3 will have the following port rotation:
Algeciras – Tanger – Freetown (Siera Leonne) – Monrovia (Liberia) – San Pedro (Côte d’Ivoire) – Banjul (Gambia) – Algeciras
The 1,600 TEU Diane A will be deployed on the first sailing of the updated EURAF 3 with ETA in Algeciras on 30 October.

Algeciras – Tanger – Nouakchott (Mauritania) – Dakar – Bissau (Guinea-Bissau) – Nouadhibou (Mauritania) – Las Palmas (Spain) – Algeciras
The 1,350 TEU CMA CGM Nouadhibou will be the first boxship on the updated port rotation of the WAZZAN service with ETA in Algeciras on 28 October.
