CMA CGM reshapes MEDEX service

CMA CGM has announced a major reshuffle of its MEDEX service, introducing a new relay via Alexandria and Beirut to further enhance connectivity between the Mediterranean, Indian Subcontinent, Middle East Gulf, and Red Sea regions.

The updated setup is designed to provide faster transit times and improved service coverage in both directions, leveraging Alexandria and Beirut as key regional hubs.

Key service highlights:

  • Weekly frequency ensuring reliable and consistent connections.

  • Enhanced coverage through Alexandria and Beirut, linking the Levant with the Indian Subcontinent and Middle East.

  • Optimized transit times for East Mediterranean trade through improved synchronization with CMA CGM’s SSL Mediterranean services.

The first Alexandria import call will be made by m/v CMA CGM MOZART (voy. 0MEM3W1MA), ETA November 6, 2025, while the first Beirut export call was successfully completed by m/v CMA CGM TITUS (voy. 0MXNTE1MA), ETA October 23, 2025.
