CMA CGM reshapes Med Pendulum Service

CMA CGM – Short Sea Lines Division announced the reshuffling of its intra-Mediterranean service MPS, set to take effect in early March 2025.

This weekly service, commencing in Salerno (Italy) westbound during the tenth week of the year, aims to enhance connectivity within the Mediterranean market by providing a maritime bridge between the Eastern Mediterranean, Western Mediterranean, Morocco, and Portugal.

The service will be operated with a fleet of six vessels, each with a nominal capacity ranging from 1,400 to 1,800 TEUs.

The rotation begins in Salerno (Italy) and continues inGenoa (Italy), La Spezia (Italy), Barcelona (Spain), Casablanca (Morocco), Leixões (Portugal), Setúbal (Portugal), Valencia (Spain), and then back eastbound in Barcelona (Spain), Marseille (France), La Spezia (Italy), Genoa (Italy), and Salerno (Italy), before proceeding to Piraeus (Greece), Beirut (Lebanon), Mersin (Turkey), Alexandria (Egypt), and returning to Salerno (Italy).
