CMA CGM reshapes Gulf–ISC coverage

CMA CGM has announced extensive updates to its intra–Middle East (Gulf) and Indian Subcontinent network, a realignment that includes new loops, the splitting of existing services and repositioning of port pairs. As reported by DynaLiners, the Pakistan Gulf Express (PIKEX) has been divided into PIKEX1 and PIKEX2, each with separate geographic focuses.

The post-change rotations are:

  • PIKEX1: Jebel Ali, Khalifa, Sohar, Port Qasim, Karachi, Sohar, Jebel Ali

  • PIKEX2: Colombo, Port Qasim, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Mangalore, Colombo

  • BIGEX: Jebel Ali, Umm Qasr, Jubail, Khalifa, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Khalifa, Jebel Ali

  • IRAQS: Khalifa, Umm Qasr, Khalifa

  • JMX2 (new feeder): Khalifa, Bahrain, Shuaiba, Dammam, Khalifa

CMA CGM expects the changes to improve schedule reliability and regional coverage.
