CMA CGM launches new Spain-Algeria service

French CMA CGM has announced the launching of the SPAINAF EXPRESS service, which is a new weekly dedicated service connecting Spain with Algeria.

The rotation of the SPAINAF EXPRESS service will be: Barcelona – Valencia – Alger – Arzew – Mostaganem (1/2) – Barcelona

The new service, which is deployed under the company’s EURONAF product as a fourth loop, will start on 21 August from the port of Barcelona. CMA CGM will deploy the 677TEU Janina on the service.

SPAINAF EXPRESS

The Marseille-based carrier described the new service as “its ever-faster one connecting Spain with Algeria,” which will offer “best-in-class transit times from Spain to Alger in Central Algeria.”

SPAINAF EXPRESS will also provide additional and unique coverage in Western Algeria with Arzew weekly and Mostaganem fortnightly calls, according to CMA CGM.
