CMA CGM launches new Spain-Algeria direct service

CMA CGM – Short Sea Lines Division has announced a new loop, ALGA 2, in its EURONAF services.

The new weekly service aims to connect the Algerian market with two major Spanish ports, offering direct connections. In particular, ALGA 2 will connect Algeria’s port of Alger with the ports of Valencia and Barcelona.

The French ocean carrier, which will deploy two container ships on the new service, commenced ALGA 2 on 13 February from the port of Barcelona.
