CMA CGM has announced the launch of a new barge service connecting Que Vo to Haiphong, expanding its inland network in Vietnam and strengthening links between key northern industrial zones and the U.S. market.
The service is designed to support manufacturers and exporters in areas such as Bac Ninh, Hanoi and Phu Tho, offering a faster and more cost-efficient alternative with a reduced environmental footprint. According to the company, the new corridor enables a seamless flow of goods from Northern Vietnam to major U.S. ports and inland points.
Integrated with CMA CGM’s three core U.S. maritime services from Haiphong — EXX, the company’s premium service, as well as CBX and Pearl — the Que Vo route provides improved connectivity and transit reliability.
The barge service will operate on a bi-weekly basis for both imports and exports, with an estimated transit time of two days.
