CMA CGM increases rates from North Europe to US

Marseille-based container line CMA CGM has announced that effective from 15 August, a rate restoration initiative 5 (RRI05) will be implemented from North Europe to the United States.

This initiative applies to all ports of load in North Europe, including North France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Scandinavia, Poland, the Baltic, Portugal, and North Spain (Bilbao, Vigo, Gijon) destined for the US East Coast, US Gulf, US West Coast, and all inland destinations via these ports.

The rates will be US$75 per TEU (dry and reefer) and US$150 per 40’/40’HC/45′ (dry and reefer), with special equipment excluded.
