CMA CGM has announced the introduction of a Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS) on all cargo bound for Conakry, Guinea. The surcharge takes effect from October 7, 2025, based on loading date, and from October 25, 2025, for shipments from the USA, US territories, and Latin America.
The surcharge applies to all cargo types and is set at USD 1,000 / EUR 850 / GBP 750 per TEU, payable with freight.
CMA CGM said the measure reflects the current congestion situation at Conakry port.
