CMA CGM expands MOSHT1 service

CMA CGM has strengthened its Morocco Shuttle (MOSHT1) service by introducing a new port call at Algeciras and deploying an additional 1,000 TEU vessel, increasing overall capacity on the route.

The revised service rotation now operates as Algeciras, Tangier, Casablanca, Agadir and back to Algeciras, improving links between southern Spain and key Moroccan ports. The added call at Algeciras enhances connections with CMA CGM’s wider network, allowing smoother transhipment options for cargo moving to and from Morocco.

By increasing vessel capacity and adjusting the rotation, CMA CGM aims to support growing trade flows in the Western Mediterranean and provide customers with improved schedule reliability and more flexible shipping options. The MOSHT1 service continues to play a key role in regional short-sea connectivity, serving both import and export markets across the Morocco–Spain corridor.
