CMA CGM enhances inland coverage of Nigeria

CMA CGM has announced the launch of the new product Land Transport through the port of Lekki in Nigeria, a newly inaugurated call on its WAX service.

The new call at Lekki Port will be effective from May 2023 and the French ocean carrier said the opening of this new corridor is expected to provide land transportation solutions for cargo from/to Asia, Bangladesh, East Coast of India to/from more inland destinations via Lekki, particularly in Greater Lagos.

In addition, CMA CGM noted that the major cities within a 100 km radius around Lekki will be reached in 1 day, Kaduna will be reached in 12 days and Kano door delivery in 14 days.
