CMA CGM commences new Latin America service

CMA CGM has announced the launch of BRAZEX Loop 2 service, a Brazilian market related product with connections in North America, the Caribbean, Asia and Europe using Kingston, Jamaica as a hub for full coverage.

BRAZEX 2 will be solely operated by the French container line, which will deploy five container ships. The new service will offer a weekly direct service from/to North and South Brazil with “competitive transit times” from USEC / Florida, US Gulf and Mexico to Brazil.

In addition, weekly service linking Vila Do Conde, Vitoria, Santos and Navegantes to/from the Caribbean, Asia, Europe and North America via the Kingston hub will be provided, while CMA CGM will also offer new direct service from Vila Do Conde, Vitoria and South Brazil to Caucedo (Dominican Republic), San Juan (Puerto Rico) and Port of Spain (Trinidad)

The first northbound sailing is expected to depart on 21 October, while the first southbound sailing is expected to launch on 10 November.
