CMA CGM boost its AZTECA services by adding a direct call in Oakland

CMA CGM announced that Oakland has been added to AZTECA Loop 1 with direct calls from the West Coast of the United States to Central America.

The following is the new AZTECA 1 rotation: Los Angeles (USA) – Oakland (USA) – Manzanillo (Mexico) – Lazaro Cardenas (Mexico) – Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala)– Corinto (Nicaragua) – Balboa (Panama) – Puerto Caldera (Costa Rica) – Puerto Quetzal – Los Angeles

AZTECA’s three loops give the following advantages such as direct weekly service to/from the West Coast of Mexico, the West Coast of South America, and the West Coast of Central America.

In addition, calls from Los Angeles and Oakland to Mexico’s West Coast and West Coast Central America will be direct. Also, this service will be a reliable link to/from the Mediterranean, North Europe, and the Caribbean through Panama.

Another advantage is that with Manzanillo call and Lazaro Cardenas (LCT), customers will have a fast connection from Asia to Central America.
