CMA CGM applies PSS from US to Caribbean

CMA CGM has informed its customers about the upcoming Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) that will be implemented from 23 September 2024 (gate-in date) through 5 January 2025.

This surcharge will apply to shipments originating from the USA and destined for the Windward Islands, French West Indies, Aruba, Bahamas, Bonaire, Curaçao, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Suriname, and Trinidad & Tobago.

The PSS will be applied to both dry and reefer cargo, with the rates set at US$250 per 20′ container and US$500 per 40′ and 45′ containers. For reefer cargo, the surcharge will be US$300 per 20′ container and US$600 per 40′ container.
