CMA CGM has announced a new Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) on shipments from China to West Africa.
The surcharge will apply from 27 March 2026 until further notice.
For cargo from China to Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Ghana, Togo and Equatorial Guinea, the PSS is set at USD 590 per TEU.
For shipments to Nigeria, the surcharge will be USD 575 per TEU.
The measure applies to all cargo types and is valid for short-term contracts.
CMA CGM said the surcharge aims to maintain reliable and efficient services during the peak shipping period.
