CMA CGM applies new PSS from North Europe & Med to LATAM & Caribbean

French shipping company CMA CGM has announced the implementation of new Peak Season Surcharges (PSS) on cargo shipments from North Europe and the Mediterranean to destinations across Latin America and the Caribbean.



Effective from 1 June, the Marseille-based carrier will apply a PSS of USD/EUR 150 per TEU on all types of cargo transported from North Europe—including the Scandinavian and Baltic countries—to the following destinations:

  • South America East Coast
  • South America West Coast
  • Central America East Coast & Caribbean
  • Central America West Coast & Mexico West Coast
  • Leeward and Windward Islands
  • Guyana and Suriname

This surcharge will not apply to shipments destined for the French West Indies, French Guiana, or Saint Marteen.



Additionally, CMA CGM will implement a PSS of USD/EUR 300 per container for all cargo types shipped from both the East and West Mediterranean to the same destination range listed above.
