CMA CGM applies new PCS in Mersin

CMA CGM has announced a new Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS) from the port of Mersin to several destinations worldwide due to current delays in the Turkish port.

The French carrier said that a surcharge of US$100/TEU will be implemented on dry, hazardous and reefer containers that will be transported from/to the Mediterranean, Adriatic, North Africa (including Morocco) & Black Sea to/from Mersin.

This new PCS will be effective from 29 August and the payment will be prepaid for export and collected for import.
