CMA CGM applies congestion surcharge in Guyana

Due to the current congestion at the port of Georgetown in Guyana, CMA CGM is implementing a Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS).

Effective from 22 July, based on the gate-in date (19 August for the United States and Puerto Rico and 22 August for Latin American countries under notice and the US Virgin Islands), this surcharge will apply to all cargo types from anywhere in the world destined to Georgetown, the principal port in Guyana.

The surcharge will be US$300 per TEU.
