CMA CGM announces PSS updates

CMA CGM has announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) effective from 1 July 2024 (loading date) until further notice.

Originating from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau SAR to Mombasa, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, this surcharge applies to all types of cargo. The amount is US$300 per TEU.

Furthermore, CMA CGM has notified customers of an update regarding the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from Turkey and Egypt in the Mediterranean to West Africa.

Effective 15 July 2024 (loading date) until further notice, the PSS will be US$300 per container for dry cargo and will be payable along with the freight charges.
