CMA CGM has announced the implementation of a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) as part of its ongoing efforts to maintain reliable and efficient services for customers.
Effective November 10, 2025, and until further notice, the surcharge will apply to all shipments originating from Spanish ports and destined for West Africa, with the exception of Dakar, Senegal, where a PSS is already in force.
The surcharge is set at EUR 150 per container and applies to all dry cargo, including specialized flat and open-top containers. It will be settled together with the freight.
This adjustment reflects CMA CGM’s commitment to maintaining service quality and operational stability amid increased market demand.
