CMA CGM Group has announced the implementation of a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) to maintain reliable and efficient services on its North Europe–Canada East Coast trade routes.
Effective November 1, 2025, and until further notice, the surcharge will apply as follows:

Origin range: All ports in North Europe, including North France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Scandinavia, Poland, Baltic, and North Spain (Bilbao, Gijon), excluding Portugal

Destination range: Canada East Coast and all inland destinations reached via those ports

Cargo: All, except out-of-gauge (OOG)

Amounts: USD 250 per 20′ | USD 500 per 40’/40′ HC/45′
The implementation of this surcharge is part of CMA CGM’s ongoing efforts to ensure service continuity and operational reliability amid seasonal demand increases.
