CMA CGM announces new PSS from Oman to North Europe, Med, Adriatic, Black Sea and North Africa

French shipping company CMA CGM has announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) effective from 13 February 2024, for shipments from Oman’s Salalah port to North Europe, Scandinavia, Poland, the Baltic region, West Mediterranean, Adriatic, Black Sea and North Africa.

This surcharge, applicable to dry cargo, will be set at US$1,000 per 20-foot container and US$1,500 per 40-foot container until further notice.

Additionally, a separate PSS will come into effect for shipments from Oman’s Salalah port bound for the East Mediterranean. This surcharge, applicable to dry cargo only, will be US$1,500 per 20-foot container and US$2,000 per 40-foot container.
