CMA CGM announces new FAK rates from ISC

CMA CGM has published new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates applicable to dry cargo moving from the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East Gulf and the Red Sea to North Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa.

The revised rates will take effect from 1 February 2026 and will apply until further notice, subject to the relevant gate-in or sailing dates at origin, depending on the trade.

From North West India
For cargo originating in North West India, the new FAK rates are set at USD 2,200 per 20-foot container and USD 2,200 per 40-foot container to North Europe.

Rates to the Mediterranean are USD 2,100 per 20-foot and USD 2,100 per 40-foot container, while shipments to North Africa are priced at USD 3,100 per 20-foot and USD 3,100 per 40-foot container. These rates apply to dry cargo from 1 February 2026, based on the gate-in date at origin ports.

From South East India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and the Middle East Gulf
For shipments from South East India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and the Middle East Gulf, rates to North Europe are set at USD 2,300 per 20-foot container and USD 2,300 per 40-foot container.

To the Mediterranean, the rates are USD 2,200 per 20-foot and USD 2,200 per 40-foot container, while rates to North Africa are USD 3,200 per 20-foot and USD 3,200 per 40-foot container.

These rates apply to dry cargo from 1 February 2026, based on the sailing date from origin ports.

From the Red Sea
For cargo originating from the Red Sea, the new FAK rates are USD 1,300 per 20-foot container and USD 1,300 per 40-foot container to North Europe.

Rates to the Mediterranean are USD 1,200 per 20-foot and USD 1,200 per 40-foot container, while shipments to North Africa are set at USD 2,200 per 20-foot and USD 2,200 per 40-foot container.

These rates also take effect from 1 February 2026, based on the sailing date from origin ports.

The updated FAK rates apply exclusively to dry cargo and will remain in force until further notice.
