Clemenger and Bertling create new logistics company

Bertling Logistics and Clemenger International Freight launch their new Joint Venture (JV) company Clemenger Bertling Projects Pty Ltd.

Bertling focusses on global project logistics and transport engineering solutions, while Clemenger primarily specialises in general freight forwarding and in-house customs clearance services in Australia.

The new company commenced operations on 1 July 2023 with presence in Perth (head office), Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane with a network of partners and suppliers throughout Australia.

The main purpose of Clemenger Bertling Projects Pty Ltd will be to jointly explore new business opportunities in Australia covering the growing energy, mining, and construction sectors.

Also, in doing so, the JV will focus on offering responsible logistics solutions in line with local operating standards for health, safety, and the environment.

The JV will be headed by Chris Nicholson as general manager. He has been working at Clemenger since 2015 and knows the global Bertling team very well from his previous assignment in Australia.
