China has announced the expansion of its zero-tariff policy to cover 53 African nations, a move expected to significantly shift global trade dynamics and maritime logistics.
The new measure, unveiled during a high-level meeting in central China under the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), extends preferential trade terms to include not only the continent’s least-developed countries but also several middle-income economies.
