Chapman Freeborn names new VP of Cargo in Canada

Chapman Freeborn has appointed Tyler Porteous as Vice President of Cargo – Canada to strengthen its cargo charter operations in the region.

Porteous will lead the company’s cargo growth in Canada. He will expand the customer base, develop new market segments, and deliver tailored charter solutions. He will also build long-term partnerships with local clients.

He brings more than 15 years of experience in air cargo and charter operations. He previously worked for one of the world’s largest freighter operators, where he built and grew the charter division.

“I know the Canadian market and the industries that rely on air cargo,” Porteous said. “Chapman Freeborn has strong global reach, and I see real potential to grow the brand here.”

Porteous has worked closely with Chapman Freeborn teams for many years and understands the company’s customer-first approach.

“Tyler’s experience and market knowledge make him a strong addition,” said Jack Burt, Senior Vice President of Cargo at Chapman Freeborn Americas. “His appointment supports our growth across the Americas while keeping us close to local customers.”

The appointment supports Chapman Freeborn’s wider expansion across the Americas in both cargo and passenger charter services.
