CentrePort teams up with PortConnect

CentrePort Wellington has entered a new partnership with PortConnect, a leading New Zealand-based supply chain software provider, marking a step forward in digitalising port operations and improving access for customers.

Under the agreement, CentrePort will utilize PortConnect’s platform to offer exporters and importers streamlined digital services. The first phase of the rollout will go live on 1 August 2025, starting with vessel schedule data. The two parties plan to expand functionality further in 2026.

”Joining this industry partnership is an opportunity to provide shippers consistency in data transparency, through a single platform”, commented Andrew Locke, General Manager, Commercial, CentrePort.

”CentrePort joining the PortConnect platform is a key milestone in our vision to provide a truly integrated national solution. It enables supply chain participants to benefit from greater standardisation, operational visibility, and efficiency”, said Dan Cowie, General Manager, PortConnect.
