Cavotec secures €5 million MoorMaster deal

Cavotec has landed a €5 million contract to supply its cutting-edge MoorMaster® automated vacuum mooring system to a container terminal in Morocco. This is a significant step in the company’s ongoing expansion into North Africa’s maritime infrastructure.

The deal marks Cavotec’s second MoorMaster installation in Morocco and comes with a two-year service level agreement. Delivery is expected in September 2026.

The system keeps vessels stable during operations, enabling more efficient ship-to-shore crane operations and reducing mooring time – cutting turnaround times and enhancing overall terminal productivity.

“As our second MoorMaster installation in Morocco, this agreement confirms Cavotec’s leadership in innovative port solutions and further strengthens our collaboration with one of the region’s most forward-thinking terminal operators,” says David Pagels, CEO of Cavotec.
