Cavotec has signed a contract worth approximately €13 million to supply its MoorMaster vacuum mooring systems for a specialized maritime application in North America.
Deliveries are scheduled between October 2027 and March 2028.
The MoorMaster systems are designed to enhance vessel operations by improving safety, reliability, and efficiency. The technology uses automated vacuum mooring to secure ships, reducing the need for traditional mooring lines while speeding up berthing processes.
With more than 20 years of experience in automated mooring, Cavotec highlights that MoorMaster solutions can also help ports reduce emissions and increase capacity by enabling faster turnaround times.
David Pagels, CEO of Cavotec, said: “We are pleased to have received this order, which further strengthens our position as a leading supplier of automated mooring solutions in North America.”
The order reinforces Cavotec’s footprint in the region and reflects growing demand for automation technologies aimed at improving port efficiency and sustainability.
