Carrier Transicold introduces OptimaLINE container reefer

Carrier Transicold is launching the new OptimaLINE™ container refrigeration unit, which provides several upgrades, including up to 15% fuel efficiency benefits, to provide increasingly sustainable transport refrigeration options.

“We are committed to listening to our customers and providing exceptional solutions to meet their needs,” stated Vineet Kashyap, vice president and general manager of Global Container Refrigeration, Carrier Transicold.

He added, “OptimaLINE boosts fuel efficiency to operate sustainably while reducing operating expenses for our customers.”

OptimaLINE benefits from a number of fundamental and strong design innovations, including a variable-speed scroll compressor with a permanent magnet motor powered by a variable frequency drive. This allows the system to perform optimally under a variety of ambient circumstances, setpoints, and even cooling loads.

The following are key aspects of the OptimaLINE system:

Maintaining great energy efficiency at all operating points and under all load levels, with remarkable efficiency and dependability. Also, annual energy expenses can be reduced by up to 15% when compared to prior Carrier units. As a result, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are reduced by up to 40% as compared to previous Carrier units.

Furthermore, the OptimaLINE unit operates effortlessly with Carrier Transicold’s Lynx™  Fleet telematics platform, offering functionalities like as Reefer Health analytics, remote refrigeration system monitoring and control, GPS location data, geofencing, and more.
