Carrier Transicold introduces new series of reefers

Carrier Transicold unveiled its next-generation intelligent refrigeration units at REFCOLD 2024 in Kolkata, India.

The innovative Supra A and Citimax D series aim to transform the cold chain industry through advanced technology and improved efficiency.

The Supra A series is a solution that enhances both efficiency and compactness, compared to previous Supra truck refrigeration units. The Supra A series is designed to perform in high ambient temperatures up to 55 degrees C. It offers precise temperature control, making it ideal for temperature-sensitive perishables. Additionally, the Supra series offers better uptime and reliability with less maintenance, providing a quick return on investment.

Moreover, the new generation Citimax D series is a result of decades of dedicated research and development. These units have been thoughtfully upgraded to enhance performance and offers up to 22% faster pull-down speed, compared to previous Citimax units, with increased cooling and heating capacity. The design is up to 26% lighter, making installation easier and increasing loading capability. The Citimax D series also features a new intelligent controller with a 3.2″ screen, supporting data recording, querying and remote transmission.

Both series are designed to meet the evolving needs of the cold chain industry, providing customers with the tools to enhance their operations and support intelligent development.

“The introduction of the Supra A and Citimax D series marks a significant leap toward efficiency and intelligence in refrigeration technology, tailored to meet the unique needs of the Indian market,” said Pankaj Mehta, Managing Director of Truck Trailer India, Carrier Transicold.
