cargo-partner opens new office in UK

Global transport and logistics provider cargo-partner has launched its fourth office in the United Kingdom, located near London Heathrow Airport.

The cargo-partner teams are now located in Manchester, Basildon, Bradford and London, providing full air, sea, and road transport solutions.

Following the formation of a joint venture with Aztek International Freight Ltd in 2021, cargo-partner purchased the remaining shares of the UK-based firm in 2022, uniting all specialist teams under the cargo-partner brand and expanding UK operations.

“It’s been a fantastic year – we’re continuing to invest in the team, launch new products and solutions across our vast portfolio, and this new London office sees us continue to deliver on our growth strategy, providing another great location for us to support our clients and partners,” stated Neil Murray, managing director of cargo-partner in the UK.

Neil Murray further added, “As the capital city of England and a major economic centre in Europe, London attracts a diverse range of industries and businesses. Our new office is ideally located next to London Heathrow Airport – one of the busiest airports in Europe – providing excellent connectivity and a network of transport options.”

The new cargo-partner office is located directly across from London Heathrow Airport, the UK’s largest airport by value.

Meanwhile, the cargo-partner UK team has grown to 70 employees in the last few months, and the company continues to provide job opportunities from its new London office.

Jimi Copperwheat has been named area manager south and national product manager of Air Cargo and will supervise operations from this location. Jimi Copperwheat joins the company with over 30 years of experience in logistics and transportation. He has held senior roles in air freight, commercial, and operations and has recently shifted to cargo-partner after working in a similar role with Bolloré Logistics.
