cargo-partner launches new trucking solution between China and Europe

Global logistics provider cargo-partner has recently started offering full truck load (FTL) road transport via the Middle Corridor, as a supplement to the existing rail transport services on the Iron Silk Road.

In particular, the company currently offers trucking services via the Caspian Sea with transit times of 22-25 days. Earlier in July, the first transport, a temperature-controlled shipment of lithium batteries for an automotive customer, was completed.

cargo-partner has now added this new transport option via Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, the Caucasus and Türkiye to its regular service portfolio and offers it as a complementary solution to other transport modes.

The company said its road transport team in China offers a tailor-made concept with continuous tracking along the entire route. “By closely monitoring the changing local circumstances, our expert team can flexibly select the most favorable route and border crossing for each individual shipment,” said cargo-partner in a statement.

Transit times vary depending on the origin and destination points and currently average 22 to 25 days. At the moment, the service is only available for full truck loads.

Additionally, the new transport option is able to move goods that cannot be shipped by air or rail. To date, the service has been requested by customers in the electronics, e-commerce and automotive sectors.

cargo-partner’s first transport via the Middle Corridor took place from mid-June to early July and consisted of a temperature-controlled shipment of lithium batteries for a German-based automotive customer.
