cargo-partner expands its presence in China

Austrian logistics firm cargo-partner has established additional offices and warehouses in strategic locations around China, extending its long-term expansion trajectory in the Asian economic strength.

A Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare Competence Centre in Shanghai, a warehouse in Guangzhou in the south, and new offices in Nanjing in the east and Chongqing in central China are among the highlights of cargo-partner’s presence in China.

“Our new Pharma Center in Shanghai, our new warehouse in Guangzhou, and our new office facilities in Chongqing and Nanjing are further important puzzle pieces in our constantly growing network in China,” stated Luca Ferrara, CEO of cargo-partner.

The company announced the opening of the new Centre in Shanghai in March 2023, where on-site professionals at cargo-partner can provide temperature-controlled air and ocean freight services, as well as temperature-controlled transportation for the first and final mile, according to a statement.

In addition to cargo-partner’s current warehouse facilities in Shanghai, Chengdu, Kunshan, and Hong Kong, with a total storage area of 22,000 m², the logistics provider has established a new warehouse in Guangzhou, which became operational on 1 March 2023.

In addition, cargo-partner celebrated the move of its Chongqing office to a larger, more contemporary site in April 2023.

Also, cargo-partner has built a new customer service and sales office in Nanjing to further boost its local network.
