Angolan logistics firm Cabship has joined the upcoming African Energy Week (AEW): Invest in African Energies 2025 as a Silver Partner, reinforcing its growing role in the region’s oil and gas supply chain.
The event, taking place from September 29 to October 3 in Cape Town, brings together players across the continent’s energy landscape.
Celebrating its 16th year in 2025, Cabship has steadily built its reputation as a key logistics partner in Angola, especially for major oil and gas projects. The company has worked closely with international operators like Chevron and Azule Energy, delivering services from material management to full-scale logistics support.
Cabship’s growing footprint reflects its wider ambitions. The company is exploring new infrastructure projects, including a proposed 50,000 m² construction yard near Malongo in Cabinda. In addition, it’s developing a marine and diving services company in partnership with Octomar, aimed at supporting Angola’s expanding offshore sector.
International expansion is also part of the plan. Cabship recently opened a Houston office to support procurement for Angola-based projects and strengthen ties with global energy hubs. The Houston team is expected to support Chevron and other operators with southern African operations.
“Cabship is a company that is committed to Africa’s oil and gas future,” states Tomás Gerbasio, VP Commercial and Strategic Engagement, African Energy Chamber.
