Rhenus Group has completed the integration of C. Hartwig Gdynia S.A., rebranding it as Rhenus Air & Ocean Poland. The move strengthens Rhenus’ Air & Ocean network and expands its presence in Eastern Europe.
The rebranding follows Rhenus’ acquisition of C. Hartwig Gdynia in 2021. The company now offers a wider range of ocean, air, intermodal, and project transport services in Poland and benefits from Rhenus’ global network across 70 countries.
The integration also brings changes to the management board. Marek Kearney, former COO and Sea Freight Director at C. Hartwig Gdynia, becomes Managing Director. Konstantin Perlitt, previously Rhenus Branch Manager in South Africa, joins the board in October 2025. Marek Klabacha continues on the management board.
Kearney said, “We are changing our name, but our approach remains the same. We aim to deliver the highest quality services and reliability.”
The rebranding emphasizes Rhenus’ global brand, specialized air and ocean services, and commitment to expanding international market presence.
