
Bureau Veritas has announced several appointments to its Board of Directors following a meeting held on October 22, 2025.
Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux has been appointed Lead Independent Director, Chairman of the Nomination and Compensation Committee, and Vice-Chairman of the Board, effective December 13, 2025. He replaces Pascal Lebard, who will no longer qualify as an independent director after completing twelve years on the board.
Roux de Bézieux has served as an independent director at Bureau Veritas since 2023. In addition to his new roles, he has also been appointed as a member of the Audit and Risks Committee.
The Board also appointed Julie Avrane as a member of the Nomination and Compensation Committee, effective December 13, 2025.
Lebard will continue to serve on the Nomination and Compensation Committee, the Strategy Committee, and the CSR Committee.
The Bureau Veritas Board remains composed of 12 members, with an independence rate of 58%. Independence levels within board committees range from 50% to 80%, depending on the committee.
