Bolloré Logistics Italy partners with Alha Group on LNG biofuel trucks

Bolloré Logistics Italy is intensifying its dedication to sustainable practices by securing the exclusive utilization of two biofuel trucks through its partnership with Alha Group, a major player in Italy’s air cargo sector.

These trucks, provided by Alha Group, offer a significant reduction in carbon dioxide emissions while maintaining equivalent load capacity, mileage, and load safety compared to their Euro 6 diese counterparts.

In addition, this initiative aligns with Bolloré Logistics’ commitments outlined in its corporate social responsibility program, Powering Sustainable Logistics.

The company aims to achieve a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions from transport services by 2030, based on 2019 emission levels.

Moreover, this endeavour complements the company’s ongoing efforts in the aviation sector, which has already implemented innovative solutions like Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

“I am proud to work for a company that promotes such initiatives. Bolloré Logistics Italy has an important clientele that is increasingly aware of the environmental impact of its activities, and we are honoured to be able to help them achieve their goals,” stated Gianluca Dentici, Bolloré Logistics head of Operations Air in Italy.
