Bengal Tiger Line expands services to the Mediterranean

Singapore-based ocean carrier Bengal Tiger Line (BTL) has broadened its operational reach to the Mediterranean by introducing a new service route connecting Turkey, the Red Sea, and West India.

According to Alphaliner, BTL, led by Andrew Winter, has partnered with Turkish shipping companies Arkas and Turkon Line to provide this service. This collaboration involves shared slots on a West India – Mediterranean trade route.

Launched last month, the service utilizes four ships: two 2,500 TEU vessels from Arkas and two vessels ranging from 2,700 to 2,800 TEUs from Turkon Line. Bengal Tiger Line participates throughout the entire rotation.
