Baltic Hub announces progress on T3 terminal construction project

Gdansk’s Baltic Hub has announced the completion of all essential equipment installations for the main quay of the new container terminal T3 at the Polish port, including the full-length STS track installation.

Nearly all fenders and bollards are in place, along with ongoing work on life-saving equipment, navigation lights, and steel curb elements.

These additions are expected to enhance safety and functionality for both vessels and pedestrians, according to the Port of Gdansk Authority.

Moreover, the construction of the CRMG beams is progressing across multiple designated sections, requiring precision to ensure correct placement and efficiency, while work on container foundations and steel walkways continues, focusing on stability, evenness, and the capacity to support refrigerated container operations.

Furthermore, significant progress has been reported on the track system, including setting, welding, drilling, installing chemical anchors, and priming to stabilize the structure and ensure operational reliability.

Meanwhile, the demolition of the T1 breakwater has been completed, clearing the way for new development. Additionally, construction is now complete for Building 1, Building 2, Building 3, fire tanks, and buildings Y3 and Y4, marking the successful completion of key infrastructure essential for operational readiness.
