BAL Container Line expands portfolio with Vietnam service

BAL Container Line, which recently became more active as a liner operator from a tonnage provider, has expanded its portfolio with a China-Vietnam service.

The independent liner operator has launched the SVX service on 20 December, with one of its chartered ships loading cargoes in Dachan Bay port in Shenzhen, China.

SVX provides a direct connection between Shenzhen and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, offering shippers a quick transit time.

“The SVX service enhances our Intra-Asia network and provides more options for customers,” said Dachan Bay Terminals managing director, Brian Yeung.

The port rotation of SVX weekly service is Ho Chi Minh City – Nansha – Dachan Bay – Ho Chi Minh City.
