
Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT), a subsidiary of the Filipino-listed International Container Terminal Services Inc., has a signed a four year no-strike deal with unions.
The deal will run until March 2029 and has been hailed by both sides as a historic agreement following decades of labour unrest in Australian ports.
“This agreement not only delivers meaningful benefits for employees but also provides VICT with the flexibility needed to service our customers and meet the evolving industry demands,” explained Bruno Porchietto, VICT CEO.
