Arkas merges two loops into new Med–West Africa connection

Arkas has announced the merger of its Blue Med Service (BMS) and West Africa Service (WAS) into a single, streamlined network — the Med Africa Service (MAS).

According to DynaLiners, the new service will be operated by ten vessels ranging from 1,600 to 2,500 TEU, enhancing efficiency and coverage between the Mediterranean and West Africa.

The updated rotation connects major ports across both regions: Alexandria, Beirut, Lattakia, Mersin, Aliaga, La Spezia, Genoa, Casablanca, Dakar, Lagos (Apapa & Tincan), Tema, Abidjan, Nouakchott, Tangier, Valencia, Barcelona, Marseilles, La Spezia, Genoa, Salerno, and returns to Alexandria.

This consolidation is expected to improve frequency, reliability, and overall network connectivity for Arkas customers trading between the Mediterranean and West Africa.
